Made in the 1950s by Chad Valley to advertise Bear brand hosiery, this Bear was for a long time in the window of the Bear Shop Totnes. Having been confined to the store for a number of years, we decided he might like a change of scene, so he is up for sale. I don't know how many were made, but I have never seen another and so they are not common - sorry ! how can a Bear be "common" - I mean, they must be scarce.
