This delightful piece was probably made as a ladies dressing table circa 1770, but today, its most likely use would be a desk. Mostly, the brass handles and backplates are original and although it has wear from many years of use, there has been no major restoration. Small pieces of good Georgian furniture, are hard to find, and only come up for sale rarely.
