Santa Fe sterling/gold eagle feather cuff.This is a modern piece, made by an accomplished family of Silver makers from Sant Fe in sterling silver, and 14 ct gold. The eagle feather has ritual significance and is associated with healing - the eagle had healing powers and could fly swiftly, to carry cures over distances and places, not accessible easily by humans. Consequently, the eagle feather features frequently in Santa Fe designs and in this case, a hand crafted eagle feather cuff has been exquisitely made out of sterling silver, and 14ct gold - a true work of art and also a talisman of spiritual healing.
